SHORT-TERM BUSINESS VISA
B1 (single entry) - for participation in conferences, forums, exhibitions, concerts, and other cultural or scientific events. Visa validity: up to 90 calendar days. Allowed stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan: up to 60 calendar days. B3 (single entry) - for negotiations and signing contracts/agreements. Visa validity: up to 90 calendar days. Allowed stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan: up to 30 calendar days.
Invitation procedure for a single-entry business visa category B1/B3 if the foreign citizen is outside the Republic of Kazakhstan:
Required documents:
- State registration certificate (egov.kz);
- Order appointing the chief executive;
- Shareholders' decision or General Meeting Protocol;
- Document confirming the authority to issue documents, along with a copy of the representative/authorized person's ID;
- Invitation table (2 copies with a live signature and stamp, and an electronic copy in Excel format);
- Passport copy;

WORK VISA "C3"
Foreign citizens are not allowed to work in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan without the appropriate visa category or registration.
Validity: for the duration of the employment contract and an additional period of up to 30 calendar days from its expiration date.
Processing of Invitation for Issuance of Multiple-Entry Work Visa Category C3 for Foreign Citizens Outside the Republic of Kazakhstan

- Notarially certified copy or signed original employment contract/contract with the company's stamp and its certified translation into Kazakh or Russian (for employees).
Processing of Multiple-Entry Work Visa Category C3 for Foreign Citizens within the Republic of Kazakhstan
Required documents:
- State registration certificate (egov.kz);
- Order appointing the chief executive;
- Shareholders' decision or General Meeting Protocol;
- Petition letter for the sole executive in the company (if applicable);
- Document confirming the authority to issue documents, along with a copy of the representative/authorized person's ID;

Please note that according to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 574 dated September 11, 2020, for workers of participants and bodies of the MFCAs, the "C3" visa is issued regardless of the previously stated purpose of the visit. Thus, changing to the "C3" visa category is possible from any visa category, except for the exit visa.
